This charming cedar cabin with two bedrooms and children?s loft has 2½ baths, full-service kitchen, combined dining and living room and one of the most incredible views you could ever ask for. This view can be seen from anywhere in the living room or kitchen because of the 8-ft windows that wrap around the entire room. The view can also be enjoyed outside from the wrap around deck with its swings, rocking chairs and outside dining area. Or, just sit in the six person hot tub on the deck and admire the stunning sunset. For those cool summer nights, this house also has an outside chimnea fire place to let you relax and enjoy the total privacy that this house affords. This house has the view you always dreamed of.
Alice?s Wonderland is an eclectic mix of antiques and mountain artifacts with incredible craftsmanship in the building with leaded glass windows, hardwood floors, beautiful cabinetry, and artistically fashioned mosaic tiles as kitchen countertops. The living room is cozy and comfortable with a sleeper sofa for extra guests. There is a Vermont Casting gas stove to sit around in the winter and the ever present view with the large windows and skylights in the main room.
The large master bedroom has a queen bed with wonderful mountain quilts and accessories and also has a fold-out sleeper for the smaller children. The adjoining bath with shower and all new accessories has a whimsical and inaccessible upper room that adds to the magical spirit of this house.
The second bedroom with double bed has a beautiful view from the floor to ceiling windows. The antique suite is lovely and comfortable with an adjoining bath as well. The Rabbit Hole is just for children or teens and is a hidden room only accessible by climbing up a sailor?s ladder. The room has floor to ceiling windows looking down from the Bird?s Eye view onto the breathtaking scenery. With air mattress and extra sleeping bags this room can accommodate small children or a teen. This room is equipped with its own television complete with Gamecube and videos so the kids can just hang out if they want to get away from mom and dad.
Not only does this house offer privacy, incredible views and great ambiance but it is in historic Valle Crucis, close to all tourist attractions, ski slopes, golf courses, ASU, Camp Broadstone, and the Watauga River for fishing or tubing.
