Africa, the second largest continent, has the most countries with 54. Its highest point is Tanzania's Mt. Kilimanjaro, the World's highest free-standing mountain, which rises to 5,895m above sea level. Africa's lowest point is Djibouti's Lake Assal, whose surface is 157m below sea level. - East Africa The nations that border the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, which are Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Seychelles, Somalia, Tanzania and Uganda
- Southern Africa Nations at Africa's southern tip that are Botswana, Lesotho, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe
